Edward Chilvers is an incredibly talented pianist that takes music to new levels
Whilst most of us can appreciate 2/4 time, or 3/4 time, anything more than that is beyond many musicians
Edward likes to play polyrhythmicly, that is to say, he will play with multiple rhythms - sometimes as many as 4 at the same time
Clearly, this is not a simple thing to understand so we were asked to produce a series of 5 videos that explained not only polyrhythms, but also other concepts such as polyphasing
Those 5 videos are below, and they enabled Edward to address a much larger audience than would have been the case if he had explained the concept in one of his concerts
