We sold more Early Bird tickets than in any other year
This is the story behind some Wokingham Festival Early Bird videos that we were commissioned to create.
One of the results of the C19 lockdown was that as soon as the government released a "Roadmap to Freedom", 1000's of events - large and small were announced
There was a huge pent up demand for live entertainment, but there was an even larger number of events that people could choose from
It felt like a tap full of fantastic acts was switched on on July 1st 2021 having been frozen for more than a year
Wokingham festival needed to be heard above all this noise
The Wokingham Festival management team commissioned to create 2 videos.
The first had to work on all social media - Facebook, Twitter, Tic-tok, Instagram and so on. This created an interesting challenge as each of these media had rules that needed to be obeyed.
These included:

Not more than 640*640
Mobile friendly
So, we created the video below in Adobe After Effects. It was a great success. "Early Bird" tickets were sold at a greater rate than any previous year. This was a fantastic result given the huge amounts of competition for people's hearts, minds, and wallets.
